Christmas

We traveled to Kelowna to spend Christmas with Doug's side of the family.  We had a good time enjoying yummy food, good visits, and for Charlie, lots of tractors and trucks!!!!  We ventured to the mall twice with the kids - once on boxing day to visit some friends (lets just say I didn't do any shopping).  But we were out of the house and the kids were good, so no complaints!!!!  We didn't take the stroller with us, so we borrowed one at the mall. Charlie LOVED it.  He got to ride in a 'truck' and he was pretty easy to take care of as long as you were moving!

The boys were spoiled with presents - so much so that Mom and Dad didn't really get them much - what with flying on a plane and all, I wasn't going to pack them a bunch of presents just to pack back.  Speaking of planes, Charlie loved it!!!  He was proud that he got his own seat and just when he was starting to get bored, we started our descent.  We didn't even have to get something out to entertain him.  Doug, as usual, fell asleep - the minute those engines roared, Doug fell asleep.  I guess some things never change!

Below Charlie and his Grandma S are decorating Gingerbread cookies.  Charlie loved eating the candies off the cookie!
