This and That

Here are a few pictures that haven't made it on the blog yet.  One is of Charlie wearing a bobsled helmet.....Daddy, Grandpa M, and Auntie Crystal went bobsledding on New Years Eve as a Christmas present.  60 seconds - and not cheap :)  But they had fun, and Auntie Pookie got to go free afterward because they needed a fourth person for the last run of the day.

Charlie is starting to interact with Moe more and more - some of these pictures in the next few days are proof.  Charlie is telling us that Moe has eyes, ears, a mouth and nose - and most of all, HAIR!  Although I am a little sad because I think Moe is losing is mohawk :(

Anyway  - here you go!

Cool Dude

Charlie is one cool dude.  I bought him these glasses for the summer, but they were too big.  He found them on the counter a few days ago and proceeded to put them on and craft.  He's growing up too fast!

The usual face I get when I ask Charlie to look at me :)

I have to glue those seeds to the watermelon????

Only cool dudes glue with purple glue!

And what would we do without Daddy!  Daddy builds massive towers and lets Charlie knock them down almost immediately after it is built.  Charlie and Daddy also like to play firefighters, and Charlie says, "I'm going to sight some sires!!!!"  The letter F is one of the only letters Charlie still has problems with!  And yes, Charlie found his bike helmet that I bought for him this summer, but never wore.  It should still do the trick this summer when he gets a real bike :)

Giggles

Moe had a big week.  I took him for his first round of immunizations, and he giggled when I tickled him.  Now his giggling is hiding the fact that we had fussy boy this week - I was expecting Moe to be more touchy with the needles, but I didn't realize the lingering effect it would have.  Charlie was so good afterward, I was thinking Moe would be too.  Unfortunately, we had a couple days of restlessness and more night feeds.  But he seems to be on the mend today, so that's the best news!!!

Here is proof of the giggles!!!!

Life at Home

We have settled back at home and in doing so, I have been taking some pictures of Moe so I don't forget how cute and small he was!  The penguin hat was Charlie's, so of course, I had to get a picture of Moe in it too!

And the Beware of Bears pictures bring back memories from Charlie too!  It was one of my favorite outfits - the pants are bright blue and soft!  Anyway - I took the funniest picture of Charlie in the outfit, so I took pictures of Moe in the outfit too!!!  In fact, if you go to the very beginning of this blog, you will find the picture :)

Last Christmas Post - promise!

I couldn't leave these two pictures out of Moe looking at his Grandpa - and probably one of the first times of him sitting up!  His face was precious!  And the stocking picture :)  Doug had his picture taken in that stocking when he was a baby, and we continued the tradition with Charlie and Moe.  However, Moe wasn't too fond of it at first!

And these two pictures are of me with one of my former colleagues from Ottawa!  Kate grew up in the Okanagan, and now lives in England, so it was super special that we could visit one another!!!  Thanks to her awesome husband for taking the pictures :):):)

John Deere Combine

Charlie got a massive combine for Christmas and loved it!!!!  I think Moe was a little jealous, but when we told him he could play with it too, he was happy!!!!

And the pictures continue

I've been able to capture Moe's smiles - he always smiles when he is awake - after naps, feeds, playtime....you name it, he will usually smile!

And Charlie loved Grandma's necklace - he wears it all the time!!!  Or at least when he finds it or takes it from Grandma!!!

We also made a cake for Jesus' birthday!  Charlie was sooooo excited - he was excited for the candles and for singing happy birthday, but he only had one taste of the cake.  Definitely a Daddy's boy!!!

And I tell you, family pictures are sooo hard - at least for me - cause I'm picky!!!  But here are a few right before we went to the Christmas Eve service!
