Well - I had two monkeys this year!!!! Charlie insisted on dressing up as a monkey, even though I tried to suggest other things, and Moe didn't have a choice as that was the first costume Charlie wore :). So - 2 monkeys went with one Batman trick or treating all around our neighborhood. Charlie was all ready to say 'trick or treat', and I was telling him he needed to say thank you after he received the candy. I understand he did even better and would yell 'HAPPY HALLOWEEN' as he walked away! Hahaha - he can be so shy and quiet, but he can also have fun.
The Batman the two monkeys went with is a family friend, who Charlie has gone out with every year - kind of a tradition! This time the dads were the privileged two that got to take their sons out and I got to hand out the candy at our house. The two older boys were so cute - they would hold hands and be brave together as they walked by the large 'scary' cats - I think it was Charlie who was actually scared and Batman was encouraging him along. They had fun and got too much candy. Oh, and Moe didn't last for long - he came home and stayed with Mommy.
