Family of Four Vacation

Near the end of May, we went on our 2nd road trip in one week and took our first family vacation since 2009 and obviously our first vacation with two boys!!!  We enjoyed a few walks, lots of swimming, some extra treats, and good family time.  We DID NOT get to enjoy any extra sleep :):):) - such is life with two young children!!!

Here is our 'nature walk' before we went swimming at the hot springs.  I'm not the biggest fan of a walking path right beside a fast moving stream, but we had fun!

Oh, and a main goal of this vacation was to get Charlie swimming - and he basically did!!!  He was sliding down a little slide, jumping off the edge (without holding onto us....its been a long time coming), and finally 'swimming' with water wings, but without us holding onto him.  He is definitely more fun to swim with now that he is actually doing things :). 

This was Moe's first time in the water - and he enjoyed it!  He splashed a little and enjoyed the mommy and daddy time.  He even enjoyed a good 45 minute nap in the warm pool at the hot springs :).  I was a little too warm by the end!!!!
