Fun with Friends

We had some friends from our Ottawa days visit us back in mid July.  We had visited them briefly before our cruise and they returned the favour with a visit too.  We had five kids together....ages 5,4,3,2, and 10 months.  All of their birthdays fall between mid September and Nov 1.  Crazy, fun, and loud!

I love our new house for a few reasons - a finished basement with two extra rooms and a backyard big enough for them to run and have fun.  So while the kids played, my friend and I would visit when we weren't cooking, cleaning or caring for our children :).  It really helped that they played so well together!!!!  We had a great visit.

We did fun day trips too - Heritage Park, riding horses at the farm, and a trip to the Tyrrell Museum.  Needless to say, the kids had fun, the adults had fun, and I can't wait to get together again soon!!!!

PS - I love the last few pictures of us all heading down a slippery section.....The dads in flip flops, and one dad holding baby and helping four kids down ;)
