Vacation - La Jolla

We recently returned from our vacation to California and Texas.  This was our first family flight since Moe was a newborn, so the boys were super excited to fly!  We headed to San Diego first and had a great first week.  Auntie Crystal joined us for a few days as work had brought her to LA - what a fun last minute surprise visit.  Unfortunately, the weather wasn't exactly what we were hoping for - cooler, cloud cover, and a few windy days.  BUT - we enjoyed an afternoon at the beach, sunset at La Jolla, a few days at Sea World, and the first afternoon swimming in the pool (before the cool weather came in).

The boys fell asleep in the same room and slept great for the whole trip - YAY - big YAY!  Charlie was able to touch a dolphin and they had fun checking out the marine life at Sea World.  We enjoyed yummy food that we can't get in Canada - Chipolte, Texas Roadhouse, In & Out, yummy mexican, etc.  The boys went to their first MLB game - Padres vs Rockies....Thankfully it was a great game with lots of hits and home runs.  We had a great time and enjoyed our uninterrupted time together.

There is my journal entry for California!!!  Lots of fun.  We kept busy as you have to with kids and enjoyed our time together!!!!

This was our sunset at La Jolla - I was thinking we would grab dinner and eat on the beach, however, I didn't do enough research and where we were was all cliff :)  Hahahaha - so we ate dinner on the strip and then came back down to watch the sunset.
