A little more vacation fun!

Doug was able to join us for a trip to visit his parents in BC - we were so happy that he could take time off and take a little vacation with his family!  We made it to Kelowna and it was hot, hot, hot :).  We had fun going to the beach, resting in air conditioning, pretend playing, and getting lots of love from Grandma and Grandpa.

A few side notes - we went to watch the snowbirds perform over the beaches of Kelowna, and both of the boys were enthralled - actually, Moe was more attentive over the 30 minutes than Charlie - although I think Charlie was sidetracked by the kids running around beside us!  So, once we came home, Charlie put together his own plane and pretended he was a pilot.  I think he did this for two or three days before we left.....So Charlie under the towel, that's him piloting his plane!!!!

And Grandma did up a beach party for us the last day......Charlie was soooo excited for the jello in the sand pail.  Unfortunately, Charlie also chose that day to join me and Moe in sickness, so when it came time for the beach party, he was sleeping.  When it came time to eat dessert, he had some medicine in his system to perk him up so he could eat his jello! :):)
