Winter.....

What I thought was the beginning of spring, was just a teaser, and we have spent the last two weeks with snow and cold temps.  At least it is going to be April in a few days :):)

We've been keeping busy inside - but I'm growing restless!  As are my buddies.

First bike ride of the season

Also a few weeks ago, we were soooo blessed by a little bit of warm weather, and painfully mistaken that spring had arrived!  We went out and got a new helmet for Charlie and he was off!  The puddles were too much fun and were all over our walking paths.  Thank goodness I invested in rubber boots.  Doug hasn't been smart enough and I gave him a few piggy back rides over some deep puddles (I was shocked I could!!!!).

These are the memories I love - and the weather I prefer.  We were out every day thinking that +5 was balmy!!!! :)  And yes, he almost fell and saved himself big time!!!!

Baking with Grandma

Grandma S was visiting a few weeks ago and boy did we have fun!!!!  She definitely made my life easier - and I think both boys have a new passion for books!!!

Grandma was so smart to bring some gingerbread men baking supplies.  Charlie LOVES to watch a video of him decorating these cookies with Grandma during Christmas 2012, and they again had lots of fun.  But this time, he also got to help bake.  He was a pretty good helper :).

Not many of the cookies were eaten, but most of the candy was!!!!  Thanks for a great afternoon of baking Grandma!

And for the pajama story!  I pulled these pajamas out for Moe and Charlie was absolutely insistent about wearing them after Moe did.  At one point, Charlie had his shirt and pants on underneath a size 18 month sleeper!!!!  On the pictures below, I'm pretty sure the pants were off!  Anyway - it is almost too small for Moe, yet Charlie managed to squeeze into it.  Couldn't have been very comfortable!!!!

Newborn photoshoot take 3

This great family has three little ones 3 and under - I don't know how Mom does it!!!!  Their oldest is in Charlie's preschool class, so I offered to take some newborn pictures.  Learned more and also got some cute shots!!!!  Their family is precious!
