Tummy Time

Moe's tummy time has been fairly limited.  I know, I should be doing more, but unlike his big brother, Moe doesn't like being on his belly.  He is getting really sturdy, so I am not overly concerned, but I have been trying to give more tummy time because I know it is good for those neck and back muscles!!!!

For some reason - Charlie was full of smiles the other day!!!  Maybe because he knows Mom and Dad are looking for a vehicle that will hold the whole family and all of the stuff that comes along with the family!  Who knows - he was happy and more than willing to smile.

I am happy to let you know that Moe is also sleeping through the night better than he was a couple weeks ago!  He is (most of the time) going to bed around 8 and sleeping until 8 the next morning with one time up for a snack.   I happily oblige as Moe will eat fast and go right back to sleep.  Then I usually go right back to sleep too.  It is amazing how I am a better sleeper now than I used to be.  Still not like Doug who can be asleep in 2 minutes, but I'm getting there!

Here are the first pictures of Charlie and Moe watching tv together and boy, they ended up being cute. Charlie is such a crazy kid!

I also captured Moe pulling on his toy and having it play music.  I love working in the kitchen or doing something with Charlie and hearing the music go off!  It reminds me of how fast babies grow!

Happy 3 Month Birthday!

Moe is already 3 months old!!!  I took these pictures on his birthday, but of course, I am posting them a few days late!!!  Moe and Charlie both had to go to the doctor this week, and I am happy to say that they are both healthy!

We prepped Charlie quite a bit prior to the appointment.  This past summer when he came with me to my prenatal visits, he often cried when I laid down on the table to hear Moe's heartbeat.  So I knew I needed to talk to him lots about it, or we were in for some trouble.  Charlie was a little shy at the beginning, but he let the Doctor do his usual checks without so much as a fuss.  And the best part was that he got a sucker at the end!!!  To make things even better, as the Doctor was walking out, Charlie said, "Thank you for the treat" - so, so, so adorable!  It made my heart melt!

On to Moe - he weighed in at 13 pounds, 6 ounces, so despite the immunizations and the crankiness that arose from that last week, he still managed to pack on 6 ounces.  Moe gave his usual smiles to the doctor and didn't mind the prodding either!!!
