Dump Truck Fun

Well - I finally put Boomer in the back of the dump truck and let the boys push him around the house.  He absolutely loved it and the boys were pretty good about not going too fast.  Crazy part was the best picture was the only one of Boomer looking a little scared!!!!!  This is how we passed the time while Dad was in China!

2017-First Day of School

We hit another milestone today - two boys in school!  Charlie started grade two and Moe is in kindergarten......  Moe doesn't start full time until Thursday, but he was excited to see his best friend from preschool and get in to school!!!!  Charlie was ready to take the bus and meet his teacher.  He was especially happy to see his grade 1 teacher in the school yard (she was filling a mat leave last year and just found out last week that she would be hired again).  I was slowly able to get a few things out of both boys - Moe went for a tour of the school and Charlie didn't have enough time to finish his lunch! :)  And grade two obviously isn't as much fun as grade one - but they had gym and music in the morning.

Oh and school starts so early!  Charlie catches the bus at 7:45am for 8:00am start and Moe will catch the bus at 11:25 for an 11:35 start.  Moe almost missed Charlie's picture time.  We left him sleeping upstairs (he was up until 9:00pm - excited??), and thought he would miss it.  But just before we started, he opened the door all dressed and ready for pictures.  SO FUNNY!

As all parents are, I'm just in awe that the boys have grown up soooo much!  Thankfully Boomer is with me for a few more years at home! :)  We are so proud of them!!!

Trampoline Fun

The boys love playing on the trampoline when they have friends over and I can often get them out there playing on it if I'm out there.  The other day, I grabbed my camera and tried for the first time to get some pics.  Moe was wearing his sunglasses, so his pictures were automatically cute.  Charlie was trying to bounce as close as possible to me when I was laying on the ground, so I got a few of those.  It may be a new photo tradition!

These pictures are really late coming and they showing a little bit of a cranky Boomer after a nap.  He wanted me to pick him up not take his picture!!!!

Boomer!!!

Boomer is giving us a run for our money.  At 10+ months, he finally learned how to get himself from a laying/crawling position into a sitting position.  CRAZY!  He has always been on the move and never wanted to sit, so he never figured out how to sit back up until this week.  I tried to take a few pictures of him on our bed a few nights ago, and you'll see from the couple of pictures, he would not sit still and just wanted to see the camera.  He really is always on the move - and wanting to get into things he isn't allowed in....always with a big smile on his face!!! :)
