Eating

Boomer is well on his way to eating foods.....  He is loving his purees and we are slowly introducing chunks of food.  I took some pictures a little bit ago of Boomer in his high chair.....He'll sit and eat, drink, nibble, drink some more.

Intro to Hamping

So - we went hamping a few weekends ago!  Camping by day, hotel by night :):):)  My sister and her husband bought a trailer and were so nice to take the boys camping.  The trailer only fits 4, and we weren't going to tent it, so we got a hotel room close to the campground and went hamping.  Good thing we had a hotel room as it was windy, rainy and cold the first day!!!  We ended up checking in super early and went swimming for quite a while to pass the time.  The next day we made it out to the campground, and had a campfire and lunch before checking out the beach and playground.  The kids had a good time - but I know they would LOVE it if it didn't rain.

As I've been saying Boomer is on the move.  You'll see in these pictures he really is moving and getting his body up off the ground!!!!

The best dad

Our three boys have the best dad....He is a hard worker and provider, and he loves to play and have fun with the boys.  We love you Daddy!

8 Months!!!

Little Boomer is 8 months old!!!!  He has perfected the army crawl this week and is starting to explore the house around him.....He made it into the laundry room last night and has discovered the door stops (but doesn't care for the noise they make!)  He punched through his 8th tooth last week just before his birthday so in 2 months he was able to push through 8.....  And I'm wondering if there are still more coming as he continues to drool and chew like crazy.

He is still sleeping great and since he is completely formula fed as of his 8 month birthday, he is also putting himself to sleep after a few stories and a song or two.  He loves to get his back rubbed before we leave the room!!!  And he doesn't cuddle!!!! When I get him from his crib he sticks his legs straight and his arms straight - so much for a little love :)  I also have to keep him away from my exposed shoulders as he likes to take a chomp of those too!!!!

He is the sweetest boy and goes with the flow of our family!!! LOVE him to pieces!
