I have been soaking up these newborn cuddles with the newest member of our family......the laundry takes longer to get done, the house isn't quite as organized and the meals tend to be made faster or by people that have so kindly gifted us with food. Life is sweet with two older boys and a newborn. It allows for more cuddles (I can't get enough) but also an appreciation for new life. The boys are loving their new brother and shower him with kisses, hugs and cuddles too. With Doug working from home, this baby has been given more attention while not taking away from the other two boys....to say the least, it has been a pretty precious 3.5 weeks in our house.
Baby Boomer is growing too quickly! He is almost out of newborn clothes and diapers, and his belly and legs are getting some chub on them. He is sleeping and eating more consistently, but I'm wondering if he is starting notice the world around him a little more! He was pretty restless last night and this Momma didn't get much sleep. But I know the sleepless nights won't last and while I would love more sleep, his smallness and need for Momma is going to go away all too quickly!!!
