Brotherly Love

I took some pics of Moe and Boomer laying under the playmat together.  Moe loves talking to and giving kisses to his baby brother, so when I let him under the toys with Boomer, he was game!!!!  Only problem is that Moe has been going from one cold to another, so I have made him keep his distance :(.

6 and 7 weeks

Little Boomer is not so little anymore!  At his six week appointment, he weighed in at 10 pounds, 13 ounces, and 21.5 inches long.  I knew he had gained some serious weight, but I was a little surprised with how much!!!  He is doing great and growing!

He is also doing really well in his ability to put himself to sleep.  I will lay him down in the crib and he will look around for a while and fall asleep.  Charlie never did this and Moe did a bit, but I am loving Boomer's ability to sleep when full and content.  Hopefully it continues.  Boomer also loves his playmats.  He just looks and looks, and kicks his little feet again and again.  He is a very happy baby except for when he is in the carseat and not sleeping!!

We are loving little Boomer and taking all the cuddles we can get!

Nature Fun

I'm in a photography small group at church and while I wasn't able to make it out to very many saturday morning photo walks due to Boomer's arrival, the whole family made it out last week.  The boys had fun playing with a few of their friends and I snapped away, chatted with some friends and of course, learned more photo tricks.  ALWAYS LEARNING!!  These are some from the day. Big thanks to Doug who tagged along and let me use his jacket when I forgot mine in our rush to leave the house!!!!

Fall Fun

We were still enjoying some warmer weather when the time changed a few weeks ago, so I brought my camera out to my parents place to get a few pics of the kids outside having fun.  Charlie really likes rollerblading and is pretty stable on them.  Moe mostly sticks to his bike - but will sometimes try his scooter.....  They had a good time!!!!

Cutest Cousins

Moe and Charlie have a special friendship with their 3rd cousins....  They are a few years older than them and make great playmates.  In September we were down by the river taking some family pics and I captured some of the four of them.  They are too cute and special!!!!

Sleeping Babe

These pictures are a few weeks old, but I had to post.  One of Boomer's favourite places to sleep is under his play mats.  So far he is pretty good at falling asleep by himself - so I often put him under the mat to look around and I often find him fast asleep :). Oh the life of a newborn!
