Annual Bale Pictures

For the past few years, we have taken pictures out on the bales before they get taken away.  This was possibly the quickest photoshoot ever, but I got a couple cute ones.  I like the ones of the boys trying to push the bale the best - they actually thought if Mom and Grandma helped, we would get it to move!  LOL!!!  So not happening 35 weeks pregnant.........

Notice Charlie missing/carrying his one croc and then shoeless on the bales?  We had to walk through a little dirt and he absolutely cannot stand sand/dirt in his crocs and on his feet (he gets this from his Momma).....So he took them off and didn't really put them on until we walked back to the house.  Moe on the other hand, had the dirtiest feet ever when we were done and he didn't complain once!!!!

First Day of Preschool!!!

Moe finally got to have his first full day of preschool today!!!  With his big brother gone all last week, it made me realize how much Moe relies on Charlie to have fun!  He was a sad guy without his play buddy all last week!

BUT - Monday came early enough and Moe was excited to head off to preschool with his new backpack and snack in tow.  And as usual, he was excited to show me his craft :).  It is one of his favourite parts of the day I think.

He is going to have a great year with some fun friends and teachers!

First day of Grade 1!

Charlie's first day of grade 1 and more importantly, full day school, was today!  He was so excited to head back even though he was headed to a new school.  Taking the bus probably upped his excitement levels, but he really hopped out of bed this morning ready to go to his new school and meet his new teacher!

I can't believe we have reached this milestone.  Since he is excited I am so happy for him, but can't believe that my quiet little toddler is now almost 6 and basically ran to the bus this morning.  I think he is going to grow and learn by leaps and bounds this year.  I am looking forward to hearing and seeing everything he is learning and doing.

I think the look on his face says it all.  He looked at me and smiled with no prompting.  He was ready to go!!!!!  I just don't know where his smile went when it was time for a picture with his momma!!!!!
