As I said, we have had some pretty warm weather and have taken advantage of it by getting out the bikes and going for bike rides and walks. Charlie really needs a bigger bike...not pictured :). The wheels are pretty small, so he has to work hard to get anywhere fast!!!
There is a ridge right across our street that looks out over the foothills and mountains. It is actually quite pretty driving into our community....seeing the mountains in the distance. So even though we live in the big city now, it doesn't seem as large when you see mountains instead of skyscrapers.

Puddle Jumping in January
We have been enjoying the way above seasonal temperatures here and Charlie got to introduce Moe to puddle jumping. They loved it and had way too much fun, but they also got cold and wet!!!! Here is a sneak preview! I took my camera along for our walk because the sun has been great during this warm weather!!!! And I love to practice on my two favorite little men!!!!

Play doh fun
When Moe was born, Charlie would stack the little containers of play doh and watch them tumble. I have pictures of it as it entertained Charlie for quite a while. So I got them out this year and they had fun. And then Charlie decided he wanted to curl with them. Great idea - Charlie enjoys watching curling and wants to learn how to curl....play doh curling will have to do for a while.
We also baked biscuits and I now leave some dough for the kids to play/bake with. It keeps them busy and happy, so I just ignore the mess that ends up on them and on the floor. The mess factor doesn't bother me near as much as it used to :). You can always clean in up.
The lighting was very different while taking these pictures. Instead of altering them a ton to brighten them, I left the pictures as is and turned them black and white...... Something new - I'm trying to get new ideas for editing by checking out other blogs, etc.

Welcome to 2015!!
We spent this past Christmas in the Okanagan, enjoying the downtime and celebrating Jesus' birthday! I didn't take tons of pictures.....even though I have been there for Christmas 3 or 4 times, I forget how the sun usually hides behind the clouds every single day! :) So not much natural light to take pictures, but we did make some great memories of Charlie's first Christmas being really, really, really excited about toys, and lets be honest, Moe was pretty happy too!!!!
We ended up staying out in BC longer due to a major snowstorm that came the day we were probably going to head home. And then the road was closed or delayed for avalanche control for 3 more days. Good thing we didn't have anywhere to be!
Here are some snow pics - and this was the calm before the storm! I was too busy playing in the snow to take pictures when we got probably almost 2 feet of fluffy white stuff!!!! I'm glad Moe liked snow falling on him - because Charlie was having way too much fun throwing it!!!!
