Charlie took tennis lessons once a week in May and June, and was more than ready to show us his skills in Sandpoint. We were out on the tennis courts every morning and always went the allotted 1 hour. Some smiles, some frustration, and some exercise was had. I enjoy tennis even though I didn't really play it until university.....Doug and I would make the kids take a break so we could actually play. Moe joined in on the fun too and even got some 'private lessons' from Mom! You can really see the personalities shine through - Moe is all fun all the time, and Charlie is serious and competitive - and not happy unless he is playing and the main star of the game! :)

Sandpoint 2017
We vacationed with some of my family again in Sandpoint this year - which is starting to become a tradition! We had HOT weather and a boat (for half the week once the boat breakdown of 2017 was repaired). The boys had a blast in the tube and on land, playing tennis, ping pong, and badminton. We had a great time and the only problem was that Boomer developed a full body rash by the end of the week :(.

9 months old
Boomer turned nine months old right before we left for Sandpoint - and boy, did he give us a little gift right before we left. After his nap, I found him standing up in his crib :). The little guy wanted me to remember his 9 month birthday!!!! He was so sweet and I got videos and pictures!!! He is growing way too fast.

Charlie's last day of School!
I guess I took a little blog hiatus this past month - but I'm back with pictures and stories!!! Charlie finished off school strong!!! He has enjoyed school and learning and being in a different environment all by himself. He is well on his way to reading and writing, and seems to enjoy sports the most!! :) That's a big shocker!!!!
We took a few pictures with the family - and I just loved Charlie's look when I told him to give Moe a hug!! Moe obliged immediately and Charlie's price was less than enthused. BUT - he then gave Moe a big hug :)
