We've had some warm weather these past few weeks so we have taken advantage of some puddle jumping. I love their expressions and their desire to jump in dirty water......everything went straight into the washer. Moe even lost his boot so you can imagine how wet they were!!!!

Gingerbread Town
When we were growing up, my family had a tradition of making gingerbread towns....or at least ones made out of graham crackers and hot glue! My sister wanted to bring the tradition back so we all descended on my parent's house the weekend before Christmas and decorated. Well, the boys ate candy and helped decorate their little dogs and dog houses. Doug made a hotel to the sames specs as the one that is being built and everyone else seemed to find something they wanted to build :). Turned out pretty great and I'm guessing the tradition will be here to stay when we all are home for Christmas!!!
Update - finally!
Oh man - it has almost been two months since my last posting :(. We had a great Christmas celebrating at home this year. We kept busier than normal and had fun dog sledding and luging, getting together with lots of family, and toboganning and skating with the kids.
Ok - I would like to say that everyone else had fun luging..... I was trying to be brave and was praying for a smooth and safe ride, but I had the WORST ride out of the family. It started badly with me hitting the edge three times before I even made it to the first turn and it didn't get much better. I was just looking up at the sky (as instructed) and hoping I made it down in one piece. Everyone else LOVED it so I took one for the team ;)
The boys fully loved Christmas. They participated in their first Christmas program at church and Charlie sang his little heart out......much different from his preschool concert from two years ago :). They loved singing Happy Birthday to Jesus on Christmas Eve and of course, loved opening all of the presents on Christmas morning. They are at a fun age and bring a new joy around the house during the Season.
Anyway - for the pictures!!!! These were from Christmas morning.....You'll notice some toques that were way to big from the boys....Mom's first attempt!!!! It was hilarious as you can see by the faces in the background!!!!
