Golfing...
Doug and I took the boys to the driving range over the weekend and the boys had a ton of fun. Charlie is no longer allowed to play golf in the backyard, so he has been asking to go to the golfing range :). I've been saying that we need to take them regularly, like Saturday morning, so we finally got around to it.
Both Charlie and Moe loved the driving range and we went through a big bucket of golf balls a little too quickly :). Charlie definitely got some in the air and Moe was working hard! :) He got a few further than a couple of feet!
Then we headed to the putting green. It wasn't the best putting green, but the kids didn't notice. Charlie would have stayed forever, but with only one putter, Moe was pretty bored. And he had also gotten a blister that needed (constant) attention, so that was a bummer.
Anyway - cute pics of my boys golfing. I came to take pictures! :)

2015 Tractor Fun
We relocated the tractor to Grandma and Grandpa's as our location isn't great for the kids riding the tractor, so we finally got it out and going! Moe was so excited to ride, but he is still learning how to steer :). Charlie has even been heard yelling encouragement and steering instructions!! :) They love this tractor and it is a great source of entertainment and fun. It is also great for learning patience and sharing.....we should have gotten a tractor that had two seats :)

Two wheeler
It is official - Charlie is officially on 2 wheels and Moe is getting better at riding his bike with training wheels. The first time out, Charlie was really excited to ride by himself, but he quickly learned it wasn't as easy as he thought and soon didn't even want to ride! Then we went on vacation and came back with a new idea thanks to a certain Great Aunt.....So we told him that we would stay beside him even if we let go.......so he wouldn't fall.
By the end of that riding session, he was riding his bike no problem :). And he has only got more confident....so confident that he was showing off a little and riding tight circles and FELL. It looked a lot worse than it ended up being......His helmet saved his face and teeth and other than a small bump on his forehead, a few little scratches, and a bruised ego, he is good to go! We also had him in jeans or else his knee would have been a wreck too :)
Moe caught on to his bike pretty fast as well! The first day he had no clue how to pedal, so a few people kept pushing him around and encouraging him to pedal. Day two saw him get the hang of it and day three had him pedaling. He still sometimes has a problem getting started but he is doing great! He loves to tell us that "I can pedal....Did you see me pedal?!"
Oh and Charlie lost his pedal - twice now and both times he kept his balance....not easy when you are just learning to balance. You'll notice Doug in the background of one of the pics holding his hand out to give a high five....and then him fixing the pedal......
So that's it! What a fun spring - swimming without water wings, riding a bike without training wheels....major fun.
