8 months!

Yes - these are Moe's 8 month pictures a few days before his 9 months birthday - but between our vacation and catching up, these never made it on here!

Calgary Stampede

We were fortunate to make it to the Stampede on the final day - Daddy took the afternoon off work and the kids missed a nap - which you never know how that is going to go!  But thankfully, it went so well!

Charlie LOVED the Stampede this year!  We were able to see Thomas the Train, Barney, a few marching bands, and the best part of all, he got his face painted!  Charlie was SOOOOO EXCITED to get his face painted, and amazingly, he allowed the artist to paint his face and sat perfectly still!  He held my hand while the lady worked, but other than that, he was not shy or scared at all.

Charlie also loved the marching bands.  He would watch and then clap at the end - how great is that!??  Now all we have to do is get Charlie drumming to a beat :)

Baseball Fun!

As I've said before, we are introducing Charlie to a bunch of sports.  Well, he can really connect with the baseball!  I'm kind of surprised as I have no idea when kids really learn to swing and hit :).

We were outside one evening and Charlie was getting some practice swings in.  I couldn't refuse taking a few pictures of Moe wearing a baseball hat for the first time and coincidentally, he is even wearing a baseball shirt (not planned, I promise).

Waking up thanks to little brother

A few weeks ago Charlie didn't want to have his usual afternoon nap, and instead fell asleep while I was cooking dinner....  Well, Daddy came home and thought it would be a good idea for Moe to wake him up.  The video is even better, but my pictures will do.  I'm surprised Charlie didn't take a swing at Moe, but he was pretty sleepy and didn't care what his brother was doing.

I'm going to get you back for all the times you get me!!!!!

To hold you over.....

We've been on vacation without Daddy :( and even without internet.....so, no time to blog.  Here are a few pictures to hold you over until I can get more recent ones up!!

Charlie is LOVING his tractor.  He now has tools and such in his trailer and often has to stop to fix something.  He takes his job very seriously as we go for drives around the block.  He isn't, however, a good sharer......but really, who would want to be!

And Moe can't be left out either - here is a cute one of his Canada Day hat, not on Canada Day :)
